FoldMaster offers the possibility to mark text in three different ways. As text block, as line block and as column block.
Text block
This is the most popular way to select text. The text is selected exactliy
from the position the left mouse button is pressed to the position the
button is released. The selection can be placed from any position inside
a line to any position in the same or any other line.
The lines between the start and end of the selection would be selected
completely.
Line block
The lines are selected completely. To select a line block move the
mouse to the position between the left border of the editor window and
the begining of the line. At this position the mouse cursor is changed
to a right arrow. Pressing the left mouse button while moving the mouse
you can select the lines.
Column block
In this case the text is selected in columns exactly from the position
the left mouse button is pressed to the position the button is released.
The lines between the block start and block end are selected in the same
way.
Using the commands from the edit menu you can manipulate the selected
text.
